Over a great many years, and more specifically from 2004 until present times, The Lord has spoken, taught, and directed me to learn more of the Life of Enoch and The Ancient of Days! He is now uttering a “Divine Call for Enochs to Manifest” in our Present Times and Days.
Enoch was the father of Methuselah and the great-grandfather of Noah. He was the 7th patriarch in the lineage of Adam [Adam, Seth, Enos, Kenan, Mahalalel, Jered, Enoch ~ their names a statement to that generation and ours]. Each generation carried legacy memories from Adam when he and Eve lived in God’s presence, and all was perfect. Each generation also passed forward the memory of pride and disobedience that separated them from God. Yet, most important, they continuously told of the hope in God and His promise to provide The Seed (Jesus) who would crush Satan’s head.
By the time Enoch was born, humanity had fallen into great sin. But he was a righteous man before God and walked with God experiencing revelations and visits to heaven in the form of travels, visions, and dreams. Then, suddenly, “…he was not [found among men], because God took him [away to be home with Him].” Genesis 5:24 AMP.
With God’s Call for Enochs to Manifest in our times we must ask ourselves what specific characteristics of Enoch are needed.
- Enoch believed in God.
- He listened to God.
- He told everyone what God showed him and what God said.
We, too, can develop these attributes in our own lives. Please consider building your own personal study of the life of Enoch, the son of Jered, the father of Methuselah.
Today, I share, for your encouragement and illumination, a few of my personal Rapturous experiences of Enoch-Like Encounters with God.

For your immediate information and observation, the word ‘Rapture’ does not appear anywhere in the Bible.
- However, The Word “Harpazo” in the Greek translation, and "Rapio" in the Latin translation is where we got the word Rapture. Both words mean the same encounter or supernatural experience as the word Rapture in modern dictionaries – which tells of events of sudden unexpected happenings – “To be Caught-Up; Snatched Up ; Suddenly Taken Up or Taken Out to another Place, supernaturally.
- Again, the original word, (the verbs) “Harpazo” translated from Greek and “Rapio" in the Latin versions, both have the same meaning as “Rapture” and which appears fourteen (14) times in the New Testament. Clarity of this word has been misunderstood by many who have not known that there are many languages of which, when translated accurately, are not in error.
Contextually ~ There are seven (7) Raptures listed in the New Testament Bible:
- Rapture of Enoch
- Rapture of Elijah.
- Rapture of Isaac
- Rapture of Jesus
- Rapture of Paul
- Rapture of Phillip: Phillip had an encounter with an Angel who spoke to Phillip the words of the Lord telling him to go to Gaza. In obedience he went where he was sent. (Acts 8…verse 38-39)
- Philip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch, the man who he had just led to salvation and when they came up out of the water after the baptism, the Spirit of the Lord “caught Philip away so that the eunuch saw him no more and he went on his way rejoicing.”
- But Philip was found at Azotus... “and passing through he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.”
- Phillip was Supernaturally Taken-Away by the Holy Spirit to another location—Azotus—after baptizing the Ethiopian man. Phillip showed up in Azotus, a region of Judea and Samaria, located about 19–30 miles south of Jerusalem where he ministered the Good News of the Gospel. (Acts 8:40)
- Rapture number seven refers to the Future Event when Jesus Suddenly Returns for His Own…in times uncertain!

Let's observe that all Biblical stories/Scriptures pertaining to Rapturous Encounters, had three common facts: They were Literal, Physical, and Sudden transfers!
NOW HEAR MY TRUE RAPTUROUS ENCOUNTERS OF BEING SNATCHED-UP, TRANSLATED, OR SUDDENLY TAKEN, TO DIFFERENT PLACES SUPERNATURALLY.
During my older more mature years of Kingdom Service by God's Sovereign Will, I was chosen to experience several Rapturous Encounters and Supernatural Excursions including Translations to Heaven! No encounters were requested or expected. They simply happened.
- Foundationally: Visitation from Heaven's Inhabitant ~ Isaac. This was my initial unimaginable encounter. The Lord Himself told me who the person was who had been sent to me!
- Of course, my first thought was to inform Him/Jesus that “Isaac was dead and was an Old Testament person who had died before His Birth… as if Jesus didn’t know or remember that fact. But my thought became my Divine Teachable/Learning moment of opportunities for my future encounters of the unknown Ways of God!
- It was my time to study and learn the unknown truths of Heavens Ways and Eternal Life Truths... as Jesus responded saying, “NO, HE'S NOT DEAD. HE IS ALIVE… EVEN AS I AM ALIVE!”
- Then, I sought the Biblical confirmation for times when the Lord will send the Inhabitants of Heaven back to earth to help those on earth! Therein the search, I found that Jesus, Himself, gave us the best example when Moses and Elijah appeared with Jesus on the Mount Transfiguration before His crucifixion (Matthew 17: 1-13).
Fast forward. Recently, The Lord directed me to learn much more about Enoch including that which was not included in our American Translated Bibles. The Lord spoke much about the life, character, face, and righteousness of Enoch. Enoch was a Righteous man. He Walked WITH God. Yes, Enoch truly WALKED WITH God! God told him many things and Enoch stepped out in faith, sharing what God said. Then, Enoch was Raptured-up or Snatched-up without seeing death.
Again, I must make this clear. The Lord is challenging us today to truly Live, Like Enoch. BE Eternally Focused. Ready to BE Taken Up WITHOUT Seeing Death!
My Rapturous Encounters were all Supernatural, Sudden and Unexpected!
- On one occasion of JESUS' Visitation, I was Levitated Upward to meet Him.
- As I laid upon my bed, Jesus appeared in the atmosphere just above my house. I could see Him wearing a white robe with a large chord attached at the hem. This chord contained strange powers, likened to “Magnetic Power,” capable of lifting or drawing something/someone upward. The train of His Robe was wide and was spread out in the air.
- Jesus bid me, “Come Up” and go with Him to places unknown. Then, I was suddenly Taken Up as one being levitated upward to join Him. I was Taken Out of my bed to join Him on an Excursion Upward to several places, including Heaven.
- Then Jesus brought me back and placed me in my bed even while I resisted. I did not desire to return from that Peace Place with Him even though I had experienced/been shown some situations that were difficult to accept. But He Promised to Return for Me Himself!
- Later, as I thought upon this journey, I recalled that at one of the places I traveled to there were many Angels or Cherubim who were busy preparing different foods in readiness of His servants for our ascension.

On my Translations to Heaven (several times) when I was given the privilege to See and Know many Divine Truths and Mysteries…
- I Saw Mansions; Streets of Gold;
- A Ship of Zion bringing the deceased Home to meet their eager expectant loved Ones.
- Children playing in sand that was sprinkled with diamonds… & more.
