June 30th, 2026, in the early hour of 4:35 AM, I was awakened to supernaturally Hear and Listen in to discussions in Heaven about the Prophet Nathan. One person was saying to another person: “MY FRIEND NATHAN...” (spoken admiringly). Immediately, I wondered who the Prophet Nathan had befriended when he was on Earth, and who was speaking of him now in heaven?
Significantly and more importantly, I wondered why the LORD has seen fit for me be listening into conversations of the inhabitants of Heaven’s. Why am I so privileged to become engaged in Heaven's Sacred Affairs? It became clear to me that Nathan had befriended someone in his days upon the Earth and he was now being discussed in Heaven. (Nathan's name means God's gift)
For the understanding of readers of today’s article, it is good to know that every time the LORD touches my life in these many special ways, they are not simply moments of awe to be recorded in my journals. Each one carries a deeper lesson to be learned; often many lessons. So it is that I must consider the event and study the various parts of it. So it was true upon hearing this conversation.
- My wondering of whom Nathan had befriended in the Earth became my Key for searching Nathan’s Life of Service in the Bible. Therein my searching I found, Nathan was a Prophet in the Old Testament who served under two (2) kings, King David and King Solomon.
- God spoke to David through Nathan several times about King David's adulterous marriage, to Bathsheba after orchestrating her husband's murder.
- Nathan played a crucial role in three major historical events. He was a trusted advisor to David.
- Nathan’s story is defined by three main encounters:
- The First Temple Prophecy.
- The second confronting David about his sinful ways; and securing Solomon's throne.
- And years later, when David was near death, Nathan anointed Solomon as the new king of Israel.
- Nathan also chronicled the reigns of David and Solomon in records that are now considered lost historical text. But Heaven Remembered!
- Nathan was referred to as “The Oracle.”
So, I asked the Lord, “Why now Lord am I listening to conversations of these Old Testament characters who I have now identified as Kings David and Solomon, as they refer to Nathan as ‘My Friend Nathan?’”
The Lord responded saying… “Nathan was Protector of the Davidic Covenant and of Solomon’s Coronation. Two of My reigning Kings. Both in My plans for Israel.”
“Nathan’s function was specific and specifically timed, as is yours,” said the Lord.
“Observe who you are befriending in your present living and functioning my child. Then, you will better understand discussions of yourself in Heaven.”
“Who will be able to say, ‘MY FRIEND Mary’? Ponder this vital question for your comfort and encouragement My child,” said He.
“Your work is vital and is vitally assigned. In truth you are Befriending many more than you presently are aware. However, think Globally of places traveled and of the lives you have impacted including Africa and the Global World,” He continued.
“Most of all, you have Befriended ME …in your Obedience. Thank you!” said He.
The Lord then continued speaking with Divine Instructions, saying…
NOW CHARGE MY PEOPLE TO BEFRIEND ME, AS THEY WILL FACE CHALLENGES TO CHOOSE WHOM THEY WILL SERVE… ME OR THE BEAST.
UNDERSTAND THE VITAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THIS LESSON THIS DAY, said He
The Lord continued speaking about His Friends saying:
“MY FRIENDS KNOW ME… KNOW WHAT I'M DOING… HAVE INTIMACY… HAVE PRIVILEGES and BENEFITS.
MY FRIENDS HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES AS WELL. THAT'S WHERE OBEDIENCE AND TRUST GO Hand AND HAND.
I KNOW WHO CAN BE ENTRUSTED TO EXECUTE MY WILL ON THE EARTH! SEE? I KNOW WHO CAN BE ENTRUSTED WITH REVELATION KNOWLEDGE… EVEN TO LISTEN TO CONVERSATIONS IN HEAVEN, DIALOGUES OF THE LIVING INHABITANTS IN HEAVEN AS HAS BEEN YOUR PRIVILEGES, MY CHILD.”
“Thank you, LORD, for our FRIENDSHIP relationship, our living LOVING RELATIONSHIP,” I said to The Lord.
By 10:00 a.m. on June 30th, after intense study, I had found and read most of 13 Bible Scriptures about the Prophet Nathan who was sometimes referred to as THE ORACLE. I obtained an amazing amount of knowledge that I did not know before and remembered the Lord's promises to me… His Promises to Teach me things that I did not know!
MOST OF ALL ...I LEARNED THAT GOD NEEDS TRUSTWORTHY FRIENDS IN THE EARTH TODAY… JUST AS HE DOES IN HEAVEN.... AND THAT HIS FRIENDS have both Extraordinary Privileges/Benefits and Extraordinary RESPONSIBILITIES as well.
My responsibility upon being awakened on that auspicious early morning required my availability, obedience, and diligence to seek His Counsel for many hours before I found the understanding of the possibilities of My Earthly Work of Befriending someone-s in Heaven and on earth… those worthy of being Discussed in Heaven's Place!
TODAY, I TRUST YOU ARE HEARING these things and taking God’s CALL to heart. In the days that followed this event, the LORD shared more… and focused my attention to the times I’ve been in Africa both physically and spiritually.
“Africa is at the EPICENTER of My Plans for Correction,” said the LORD. “Zambia, in particular.”
Once again, I began researching and studying what was happening in this region of the world. My heart was much troubled as I remembered many hours of intense prayer I’ve given over many years for the protection of Zambia, it’s constitution, and elected President.
“There is a Maniacal One threatening the life of this leader,” warned the LORD.
I came to understand much more as I researched the definition of the word, maniacal—one who demonstrates wild, uncontrolled, violent behavior; obsessive to obtain what he wants the point of destruction. And as I researched current events in Zambia, I began to fervently pray for the protection of all the people of the land.
Now I pray for those who are reading this today. WILL YOU BE THE NATHAN—THE CHANGE AGENT in God’s Plans? The LORD has called us to be like the Prophet Nathan, protectors and speakers of Truth to the world… to BE His Friends and accept the responsibilities with obedience and trust IN HIM.
May these words I have shared with you guide you to prayer, research, and study as you, too, hear from Heaven. Our LORD, GOD, is FAITHFUL.
